you all to come along and try out the range of Ozone Kites and Decay
Kiteboards we will have on offer.
6th and 7th Feb at Foxton Beach.

We will have on hand Hugh Pinfold, part of the OZONE Design Team as
well as Torrin Bright, OZONE International Rider and PKRA competitor
to really show you what the kites can do !
These guys are kick ass riders and very approachable if you have any
queries or questions about the Ozone kit.

Also in attendance will be Dave Kay from DECAY KITEBOARDS with a range
of his custom and production boards for your riding pleasure, all the
way from Ruakaka to our humble Foxton Beach.

We have waves in front on the beach and flat water in the Manawatu
Estuary as well as a hard sandy beach for buggying & landboarding.
Also dunes for those experienced buggy riders to really test the Ozone
Land kites in their element.

We would love to see as many of you as possible come along for the
weekend to try out these great kites and boards.

There will be a bbq and beers afterwards on the sat evening at Wind
Warriors HQ for all those staying over in town
for the Sunday session.

High tide 3pm saturday
High Tide 4pm Sunday

Ill post accommodation details in next few days as ill try and sort a
deal for those who wish to stay at the local campsite or motel.

Ozone & Decay Team Rider Olly Brunton has just confirmed his attendance for the demo weekend as well. This guy is an animal with one of the meanest kiteloops ive ever seen!

Accommodation wise I have secured a deal at the Foxton Motor Camp for a discount off Cabins and Tent sites for the weekend for those staying over for the BBq & Beers on sat Night and the Sunday session.

looking like all light winds and sea breezes, so you may not miss a lot of kite action.

foxton usually runs 10 knots above predictions so its possible for 19 ish later on today...... hope so for you guys.

I headed up there for a few hours on Saturday afternoon to shoot some photos of the demo day & hopefully get a kite in myself. Unfortunately the wind didn't really do its thing but I did get a few photos of the day & you can see them here.

I was impressed with the location - When windy that place would crank!

A huge thanks to all those who attended the demo and after party despite the lack of wind.
At least you got to see our great location here at Foxton Beach and to meet the other kitesurfers in the area.
Next time ill book the wind, .... and a bigger keg.
