that hill looks like it needs riding up and gliding down!.

ahhh..... its probably the one sport that scott base is freak awesome for snow kiting..... always cold always wind?

if i'm ever there i'll take my kite!

Zenon, yeah that's me up front on the 4.9 blade.

That bit of hill up front is a bit too steep and crevassed for hill riding - but about 2km upwind (in an E'rly) is a perfect section for gliding, there's a rope tow too for the no wind days .

I was working down there, that's the ticket, that or win lotto...

There are jobs down there for just about any trade going, I was doing a bit of technical hoo haa for some scientists. Once upon a time I had job down there actually flying kites - an ultra stable single line powerfoil for hoisting up air sampling equipment, bloody marvellous it was.
