so, i'm heading QTN for 4 days in August. it's a conference so i'll have free time only between 9.30 and 16.30. not enough time to go to the snowpark near wanaka. i'll be most likely without a car. these are the facts. will i have a chance to snowkite? is yes, where??? many thanks for your suggestions!

You'll at least need to get up into the mountains, which means a skifield road or a 4x4, so snowfarm is probably the best if you want reliable fun. I don't know if there's going to be a kite-festival again, but if there is it might even be around the time you're there, or near enough that it's worth staying an extra week.

i'll be there between sat 27 and wed 31. the truth is more prosaic though. there is morning talk session till 9.30 and evening one starting at 16.30. so, i'll be quite limeted

Surley you can stay down from 31st to 2nd? cheap accomodation on offer most likely $25 per night
