Al and I just got back from a Awesome day trip up the east coast of Northland.
We had so much fun exploring new beaches , I couldn't hold it any longer

Yeah, had to let out some more air pressure as the beach was so soft ( softer than the moose on a hot day ).
the 6.5m Method went well, changed down to the 4.5m GT Yak and for a short time, then down to the 3m Method as the wind picked up. at the end of the day I went back to the 4.5m Yak for the run home

As this is my last weekend in Auckland and the wind is cranking i'm off on a road trip for a few days for some serious kite action. I'll go as far North as Ruakaka and anyone is welcome to join me for water or beach kiting. The easterlies at the weekend make the beach at Waipu pretty freking primo for land kiting.
Hmm, to kitesurf or to landboard? That is the question for a kite addicted junkie.

The Flag is fine, just a little dent to my pride.
But on the up side, I missed the sharp pointy log that I was looking at.
and I can still laugh at myself enough to post the photo for every one to have a laugh too

well so far i have landing kites on. drift wood, cars, lamp post, boulders, roads, behind sand dunes, electric fences..... your not pushing the limits if your kite isn't on something weird at some point! hhehehe..
