whats goin on with this site is it just me cause i think its a bit sad,ive made a suggestion on the feedback but it appears nobodys listening or cares. i asked for a confirmation email as prompted but nothing has happened. can we do it on our own, people? can we inspire motivate and stimulate the masses to unite, say yes we can...

hey bro howsit,na its not rage eh its frustration , i gave feedback , a good idea i thought,but im being ignored and you know how that grinds my wheels, i think this site is ok but could be so much better, it just seems abit stuffy and uptight.

it is what it is jonny, to be honest i wouldnt care if it was a black background, white writing and our avatar so people can see us...so long as people can say what they want (wich we can) then i see no other function for a forum...the fact that we can post out pictures up/post a video...embed anything onto the forum messagae itsself i see as all a bonus..

i look at other forums and the only thing that i find ucefull are specific (how to) sections and even then most dont know any more than we do, infact the knowlage base in this forum is pretty awsome.

the kitesurf section is pretty damn slow. i geuss thats because theres more locals at each location kitesurfing they chat in person and not on the forum. landkiting is usually more separated and if you want to chat to a dude like minded you need to do it on a forum usually some some guy on the other side of the world.

if i didn't chat of forums about landkiting i'd talk to no one. apart from the twice a year i meet up with a land based dudes.

I am a competent land boarder and land buggier but I am struggling with the kite surfing. I have found that people on the land based side of things are warm, helpful and full of comrade, which has been a real positive for me. Whereas, on occasion, while on the water I have been shouted at and had people run into my lines and not take responsibility because I am a newbie. This reflects in the people who post topics and have friend networks on this site.

I have made some genuine friends who share a love kite traction sports, these kindred spirits are scattered around NZ and this forum provides a perfect virtual venue for group networking and discussions. This is defiantly not a site for ego driven types who just want to show off the latest kit and bolster their fragile egos. My only wish for this site would be that kiter’s would advertise their second hand kit for sale here at reasonable prices.
