Well i went for a kitesurf today on my 11m in winds anywhere between 16-29 knots. Gusty as hell and mostly blowing 25ish.

Any way I had the grin of a crazed mental patient! I was loving it. Infact I was cruizing back and forth having a blast busting air off the wave lips and slashing up the waves. Didn't even have the trim strap pulled.

The zen was flowing and everything was easy. Other guys were getting overpowered on 9 and 10 meter kites and putting up 7m's not me I was loving the 11.

Doing the 24hr kite landboard challenge in 25-40+ knots has really honed the hell out of my skills.

Ahhhhhh................ good times.

so.. to anyone who wants to really improve their skills and become one with their kites i fully endorse kiting for a 24hrs.

i have found the same sort of thing from kiting a few days in a row too.

I know, don't tell everyone

That is why I did the 24hr on the kitebike

to become one with the might machine

I think it was the henious conditions. Compared to 40 knot sqaulls with sideways rain at 3 am after 19 hours of kiting everything else is easier.

ps Gannet i think our secret is safe. no one else is mad enough to try!
