Yep it's been pretty windy in Wellington lately with winds up around the 25 knots plus mark last week. On Monday this week, a strong cold southerly hit Lyall Bay & Kev Anderton was the only one mad enough to get out there. Winds were gusting up to 45 knots with driving rain & hail accompanying it. I was lucky enough to get a shot of Kev from the comfort of my car of him ripping it up on one of the many waves he pulled onto.

my initial thought is "wholy crap" a gorrilla is loose in wellington. or is it big foot?
just a minute he's Jesus walking on the wave face. not that often you see big foot or a gorilla jesus walking that is something special.

then i see a trident looking thing in bigfoots hand..... ahhh it all makes sence now.

Its obviously neptune the god of water come to reap a tiraid of rage and furious vengance upon us mortal landlubbers.
