I just got back from the beach. The African the Swiss and the Cantabrian are still riding.

Got on the beach around 11.30am. Wind a bit south. Not long after a sea breeze kicked in and we had a steady sou west. 3 -5 mtr kites. Craig got 81.5kph. Tide came in and we started a classic kite session with a stack of flexi's a giant speedwing and a Bob Dawson D wing(giant sport kite). Then out came the 15mtr charger.
Fantastic day. Sun, sea and wind. A couple of issues with kites connecting with other kiters bodies. No pedestrian incidents.

Sunday be early. I should be on the beach at 10am
Remember load up and head south west past the rocks. Don't go past the big log.

Flag drops at 1pm. See you there.

Yes sounds like awesome conditions there, me thinks should have got ass into gear an gone up with the craig and the guys. Its just the wrong time of year for me. And i can get my ass kicked by craig here in chch most weekends but would have been fun to put names to faces in the Northisland.

Anyway have fun guys it was a good 20-22knots NE here in chch yesterday and was a bit of carnage on the beach here with some newbies out. Some tangled lines one broken line and a few crashes including me.
