Hi all, I'm coming to Northland in January from the UK with wife & two buggys. Due to baggage limits I am thinking my best option is to buy the 6 barrow wheels there. Please can you suggest a place to buy them as cheap as possible. Hopefully we will meet up with some of you at Muriwai.

we have a good buggyrider group heve in auckland and im sure between us we can sort you out with some 2ndhand wheels, i think i have 3 rims spare myself and maby even some wornout tyres to get you going again.

Yeah Perrin is the man to talk to in Auckland re buggy parts.

My wife Su and I own and run Ruakaka Kitesports near Whangarei, with both Bream Bay on the east coast and Baileys Beach on the west coast being awesome buggy locations.

We carry Peter Lynn buggies in stock and can get parts on short delivery too.

Thanks for the replies, I've never been to Muriwai before but have seen a few video's & the moose is truly awesome but I don't think we will be able to get there in our hired campervan We will get to buggy on the beach tho. After Muriwai we will be heading north to stay with friends near Tokerau so will stop at Ruakaka on the way.

theirs always a way to get to the moose....we all go camping up their ofton.
youd be welcome to cach a lift if we cant get your motorhome up their.

Hey steve if you find yourself in the south island at all come look us up in Christchurch we also have a primo buggying spot with 22km of beach when the winds right which is most of the summer. Have a good trip and enjoy NZ winds some of the best buggying in the world IMO.

We probably won't even go south of Auckland this trip, only got 27 days & loads to do in northland.
Next trip, hopefully in a couple of years, we plan to tour South Island so would be good to meet up with you then.

are you sure your not from auckland Steve ? its ok the kiwis will know what i mean about "south of the bombays". muriwai should be fun, lots of us have sand cars and vans so we can help you get to the "moose" and do the 45km or 90km 2 way trip of the beach under kite power
