yep. can't remember the last decent kiting session. yes i can it was well over a month ago... thats the disadvantage of kiting you have to wait patiently for the next session or go postal.

but my mountain biking is hitting new levels of madness. 6m vertical role in in the wet today. 5m gap jumps at night last tuesday and general downhill madness....

whoop holla screem.

Does this have any relavence to kiting?

it has to do with levels of commitment. if i commit to mad lines biking i get my head into the locust mind set. then when i get back onto the kite and board i will just hammer.

what is the locus theory you ask?

Some professor somewhere did a thesis on why locus's can fly in a swarm without hitting each other. The answer is they don't think they see and act. there's no analysing of the situation.

So to go superfast or jump big or pull of the latest trick etc you need to engage locus back youself and just do it. as soon as you start thinking about if you can pull it off or how much your mortgage is your screwed.

i totaly agree,i love that feeling.. but i cant do it with mountain biking anymore, i raced downhill on the english racing circit and did well, but not any more, to much hurt.
but buggying is going much better, thankfully. and its getting easier to get into that frame of mind now that iv tested all my kit hardout and know it dosnt break, i think trusting you kit an not having any "lose bolts" in the back of your mind is the key, and knowing how to tune it so it feels perfect...then its just you an the wind

you right al. you need to have good kite be it kites, boards, buggies bikes. for me mountain biking scares me less than kiting. i have to wrestle with the wind for control.... which is the fun part. hehehe

ps i love your enthusiasm feral. post pics of your actions.
