I'm pretty new to the whole KGB thing and I'm looking at a better kite
I have been offered a 15m Phantom and it sounds sweet,has anyone used one or could give me some input as to is suitability
I'm about 100kgs and am used to a few knocks.I've done my time on dirty dirt boards and want to get someting for land and a bit of snow riding

if its cheap say less than $250. hard to solo launch and bottom end is not that flash. there are better kites for a beginner on depower.... but as allways it comes down to the $$$.
a pl venom is a better option if your looking at arcs.

Yes the phantom can be a handful to solo launch, and even to launch with help at times. Due to is aspect ratio. (i think) Because its long and skinny they have a dendency to bow tie on launch.

And they are quite a high performance kite. Prob not the best arc for a beginner.
