that was unreal,
broken kites , lines, buggys,
+ AL trying to get to OZ with out a passport as a turtle,
some face plants and turtles , go Rexton :?
but if you don't break something, your not going hard enougth.
and drag racing the moose beach on a offshore 25 knot wind and getting 74.4 km before hitting the water on BF's

till next time

thanks all ,
moose moose moose

Aaaah! Sounds like it went better than the real moose. Bet Jimmy22 is stoked. Any photos so I can at least live vicariously... some mini moose hardcore anyone?

a big thank you to everyone who made it, and helped make my new bigfoot. Sunday was a top 5 day in the last 5 years. my yaks sat in the bag and the reactors came out to play, the 5m blurr was cool , i wish i had tried the 2.5m blurr now though.

i see more day trips to the moose in the future, the 20-30 knot nne wind made new parts workable and changed the shape of the dunes in only a few hours. when we left the whole beach as far as you could see was running into the ocean like a giant river.

Yup, that one very cool place, and the perfect place for upping you PB in speed, just need more 40 + knot days

Well you've done it now you organised to do a good run and it will be as calm as. Thats what happened last weekend we hoped to go from amberly to chch and it was about 4knots bummer.

hmm im not so sure we did the same last month and it was a little ripper, maybe we have stolen your wind ?!? the location we use has wind on 300 days of the year so even on a bad report we have a shot, but we are smart about it and pull the pin if its looking very unlikely or raining hard

yes, yes i do

i was staring at the frame for about 1/2 hour today

and im sitting in the buggy bags seat typing this.

keen does not even beging to say how im feeling to get the euro racer up and running.

ptw cougar 2 frame
custom laser cut frame plates drawn by me
xx racer x brace
buggy bags uk seat
carkeek leading link
salty carbon foil rear axle
kite works custom side pads
kite works anchor points with triangular fastening points
kenda beach racer tyres
grooved duro front
solid 20mm foulkes front axle

without Peter and Eugene id have a lovely buggy bags hammock , with wicked side pads. It is so cool putting together so many great things , i was over my head when i came to the side rails, every other aspect was something i had done before, my rail design was 100mm shorter than the PTW cougar II , so lets hope my trust in popeye and Peters finished buggy is the right option. I can see myself making a mk2/3 just to test my own theory, but much later , i cant leave that question without an answer. maybe mk1 will answer for itself , no idea how ill get the bigfoot and the euro to the moose

I don't think my trusty blades will,
or the 300/200 kg line set
so if I build the buggy stronger,
what could go wrong,
(I'm a engineer and have the KNACK )sorry private joke.
so... if the pilot can stay together
the buggy should be able to take on BIGGER hills and edges.
hmm , when is a hill a mountain and a edge a CLIFF

Too late... the first Moose truck is already in stages of fabrication. Though after that 5-wheel bigfoot it will have a little bit of competition on the scale of size. It will suffer from a bit of over engineering though. Perrin could do himself harm trying to jump this one.

So when the hill becomes a mountain, the edge becomes a cliff, a buggy becomes a truck... all you really need is a bigger kite and some plus-sized 318 'cojones'!

Don't count on it

Perrin had all of 20 minutes in my 5 wheel monster truck
when he came back with one of the rear wheel set inverted
from jumping it  :?
