I have seen these kites on you tube and read some reviews on the racekite.com and also checked out their websites and seen how cheap they are to and been scottish they have peaked my interest

I was just wondering if anyone has taken the plounge and bought one? if so how they fly, any good or a waste of money? I am looking at a 6-7m buggy kite for those light wind days when a 5m gets you going but doesn't thrill you that much. So i am looking for this kite to be stable and responsive in light winds so if you have one let me know your thoughts on the pansh what ever one you have.

I heard good stuff about Pansh from a kite design perspective, but their bridles and flying lines needed some work.

Anyway the best place to go for all kite reviews is Racekites, and Pansh in no exception.

yes mate...i have a 5m and am loving it...build quality is well above the price and it is a lovley smooth fly....out the bag it pulls hard and is hard to luff but not fast.
i have added angle of attack adjusters and now have a wonderfull thing.
if you can make it to murawai tomorrow morning i will be their with a load of buggiers and your welcome to a go in the buggy with it.
other than my 3.5 this is my main kite and im very very happy, but at this price how can you complane anyway!! buy one.

Ok from northernal's post im quite surprised. I havnt had one havnt even flown one but from reading the flexifoil forums the general idea is that they used to be a good bang for buck before they decided to put the prices up. The lines bridals and handels are all crap the kites will last for a wee while but are nothing special. I rekon you should try get a 7m yakuza if you want something to buggy fast with. I flew the 6m in too much wind and it was crazy fast. my prob was i couldnt hold enough power and went sideways. Get in touch with chris at High as a Kite. I had one in the past not sure if he still does or not.

But if it was me i wouldnt waste me money on one. Think about a 7m bullet if you can get one second hand.

Just after something to get going on those light days and something that won't break the bank. So secondhand Bullet might be good but only seen 5.5's for sale in the last 6 months. Its a size of kite I will only take out a handful of times a year so don't want to go to the expense of a new flexi or Ozone. Was leaning towards a 6.4m reactor at the mo after having a fly with one a few months ago. But nothing concrete yet as winter is coming and won't get out as much, though we stall see. just was wondering if a Pansh was worth it or save that money and put it towards a better brand of kite. Though $205 for a 7m kite is hard to beat.

Personally i think you would be better off saving and putting towards something else. But thats just me, those kites are cheap for a reason. look at buying overseas while the kiwi dollar is good for it....
You could always commission William to build something for you. although i'm not sure how much time he has in order to do it. hes got other projects underway at this moment.

Ill keep an eye out for anything that could fit your requirements as well.

I might have 5.5 bullet for sale. Depends on if I can find a buyer for my PL buggy and what price I can purchase a new Flexi buggy & Sabre for was well.

(It probably also depends on if I like flying the Sabre, although I have been reassured that I will like it).

i've only used a mates 7m for 10 mins or so. but wasn't that impressed with the way it fell out of the sky very easily. i was running around doing pendulum jumps. if i got the kite slightly behind me with a badly executed jump bang it folded up and crashed on the ground.

comparing with my venom and frenzy those kite wouldn't even look at colapsing with the same actions.......

anyway 2 hunge for a new seven meter kite is crazy. if you buy and don't like then yourl be able to sell it on trademe for more that you bought it for.

yourd also have to consider getting better lines. the lines they come with are cheap and cheesy and all white.... not good when you trying to untangle them.
