sweeet. i',m super keen haven't been to the moosleand before. i presume we drive back late afternoon sat or is it an overnight stay in a tent thing?. ps i don'r own a tent. prefer a drive back the same day option

i'm realy keen to do some looooong runs up and down the beach.

depending on the wind direction i'd like to take off down the beach 1/2 or so before pack up and see how far i get before the 4wd's catch me.

old durling needs his bro's 4x4 , you would take aprox 1hour 15 mins to run the full distance at full pace on the board on the return trip, there is lots of room up there

i'm pretty keen to do some speed runs.want to break 50kph on the board.

hehe i need to break 40 first. that will be easy if the moose is as wide and glorious as stated and the wind is more than 12 knots.

if you want speed alone you can try out the Yaks in whatever size suits the day
i got 57kmph on the 6.0m in 10 knots and 56 on the 3.4 in 15 knots odd so far its just in your head you need to fix, 50 kmph is really fast on a board, unless your butch or maybe some of the southern boys who are well into it.

The mad thing is the little best trainer still holds my best ever 60.3 kmph in some huge gale, go figure

highlight of that trip was a lesson learned....dont put a 6.6 blade 3 up in 20knots!! fun, but a bit leathal..not even a loaded libra bigfoot could hold that thing down..its just a good job that sanddune was in the way or i would have ended up in woodhill!!
awsome outing, cheers lads.

all the same session zennon.

i missed that dragging up the dune. paul told me all about it.

was that when the rain squal came through?

i had to pull the safety on the frenzy as i was getting lifted and sledging towards the dunes.

ps what about a safety attached to one of the power lines that sheets the kite out like the venom safety???? could be worth a look. maybe save the odd dragging.

yea that was that squall.. the wind was dying so i stoped an waited for roffey to give him the 5m an i put up the blade....in all the time that took the wind had got up an as the apparent got hold i was stuck on a downwinder...i was reaching for the saftey as i hit the dune!!

BUZZING...that was a big O for awesome!
I also missed the squall. as I was getting my B4-4.9 out of a pine tree,
as a side strap to the holts block broke and just sat there watching my kite sail over the hill for the trees,  good thing the tree down there are only 1m tall and 5m wide.
Awesome weekend guys.
I did 116km with a top speed of 63.8 k's.
I't's a long way back with low winds.

nuked it back, just with incoming tide 5 knots and cut up sand , did 1/2 of the uptrip and all of the back session , topped out a 60.2 kmph with 112km covered. What a day, i was on a PL XR2 on the way up with a borrowed rebbel 5.0m through the 20-25 squall but i made it JUST . On the way back it was my trusty 6.0m Yak hitting 57kmph for a short time and lowest speed was parking the kite dragging the buggy through the cut up 4x4 out let getting the kite over and carring on.The wind was almost in front at one point, a very hard nuke but i did it. Thank you to roffey and gannet esp for vehicle support the only thing stopping it being a perfect day was Perrin had to man his shop and was unable to join us.

fits on 4 inch rims 10" high and 4" wide.....??? might be worth me checking out.

is it yours or kiters, im a bit confused...either way....iv got a bit of southern kite magic now and im gona love it.
will have to see how it does against my other magic kite, perrins old 3.5 N-gen...that thing got soul man.....iv overtaken jojos and yacks with that kite....full re-bridal and some of perrins blood!!!! goes like holy hell.
the blades got some more work to do yet!!
