The OZONE snowkite team are in New Zealand during August, so we're aiming for a long weekend in the snow round Wanaka, maybe checkout some spots round Tekapo on the way down south, it's likely we'll be hitting some new terrain too....

August 16-19th looks good, so this gives everyone plenty of notice to get ya shit together!

We'll post suggested places to stay, there is limited space at the Wanaka YHA for example...keep ya posted

Had a wee kite in the snow yesterday at Lake Lyndon with John, bit of fun, helped rescue a sunken 4WD from the ice, very funny!

I'm staying in Tekapo the weekend before (11/12th/...), got a whole house sorted so plenty of space if anyone wants to head down that weekend too and needs a place to crash.

That weekend sucks for me, I have work commitments that I just can't get out of... Dammmmmm

Luckily I'll ge good for the weekend before and maybe the week after...

Unfortunately we have lost our accommodation for the weekend of the 11th & 12th August at the last minute....

I am now desperately trying to sort out some alternative accom so that we do not have to blow the weekend off...

yes sorry about that guys - unfortunately in Tekapo there aint much of a back up plan in the event of shite weather (i.e. no decent pubs!), the crew I am travelling with would rather get the hell on down to Queenstown.
