hey i might be keen,

i'm cruising up to jafaland easter to visit a mate and we planned to go landboarding and buggying.

will have the wife and kids in tow so i wont be available all weekend but maybe able to hit one of those windows.

Whats the weather forcast look like>?
when does the wind build at muriwai?? is it better early morning or later in the day.?

i'm super keen to try out my new custom carbon landboard on muriwai. SUPER KEEEENN.

Hi Dave, the winds , the norm is ; SW, the beach is good for SW to WNW.The weekends weather ? we will see when it happens. The tides are not good for the beach. But at mooseland (south head) on the sand hills the tide will not get you, but it is a 45km 4WD, N up muriwai beach to get their; up in the morning and back late.

in auck normaly eastly you go to owera beach (butt lots of ppl!)

and westly muriwai beach


the tide is a bit better for owera low about 4-5.30pm over the weekend
muriwai is running a bit later

BUT the wind map looks a.f.u.!

im working sat, sun so cant make mooseland over night but
if the wind starts looking better im seen wont i can do

You're not wrong on that wind . Have a look at this site ;Windguru. I was talking to Kent and Perrin this arvo and they're keen fri 2-3pm drive up to the mooseland back late. I think the wind will be better for hot air balloning , or get pissed on the beach! But we live in hope don't we. :roll: [/url]

I'll take both buggies and the PL trailer, :idea: I'll see if I can fit the PL trailer on the full suspension big foot + camera, that could get crazy. See you at 2 ish ?. The wind is looking good right now, a bit S but the sea breeze will bring that around.My house has the clown fish hanging from the tea tree, coast rd. if the rav4 is gone, I'll be on the beach by the river.CU.

WOW! that was damm good.wind was SSW 10-12 kts,but bugging over sand hills is just crazy, what a play ground and the 4.9 blade 4 is one beautiful kite.Kent the crazy man kitesurfed the 42 km beach to mooseland, mad.

ive washed my car twice but it still sinks like dead seaweed and stuff! 8) sort of :?.
washing agaim today so so i can cover it in crap again
