I kite at muriwai quite alot and I know a few people from kiteforum live there.

I just got my gun licence and gun and am keen on some hunting of goats and deer on private property especially at muriwai because its such easy hunting
I'm happy to split any meat I bag and obviously be respectful!

Yes I have rung about all those hunting spots and they are by permit only. Which they are restricting to vertiually nill! and you can only apply for them months in advance, furthermore they have hired professional hunters to kill all the herds of stags so the population of deer is very low.

I got a .270 rifle

you need to hunt us down a moose and bring it to the moose meet in october so we can roast it on a spit!

ideally hunt it down on the same day as the moosemeet, gut and cook its assss right then and there
