I have lots of lake experience wakeboarding etc. but I am just now taking lessons for kiteboarding.
I am debating on these kites ... need opinions on which is the best and why ... I will be kiting on lakes near Dallas and there's not just a ton of wind. I am 5' 7" 125 1bs

Diesel
Fuel
Octane

in a 2005 so I can afford it in the 10 -12 M range

Turbo diesel for learners or wave riders.
Fuel is the best(my opinon) Good for everything.
Octane is big air hardout freestyle kite.

If you want it most like wakeboarding the fuel or octane would be better I recon!

Thanks for the info. What do you think about bow kites in comparison to C kites. I know I can't do a thing right now ... haven't even been in the water yet, but I am excited about the day when I am getting big air !!!

Have you road all of these kites octane ,fuel and a bow kite?

Yer rode all 3 in around 12m size. Dont no about bows yet, wait til next years bows come out and then you will be able to see if they are truely great. Some peole say they are best thing since sliced bread! They do seem great for the waves tho.
