Ever thought of ADVANCED notice? Posting something is happening 36 hours before actually does is not alot of notice, I for one didn't read this thread to sat morning, and uttered the expected "shit I would have gone to that"

This notice was posted up a week before the event. Heck if i had compiled some trashy "thrasher quality" kiteboardin clips i mite have even been tempted to bring em up... but nah i wouldn't wanna put you ladies through that amount of suffering. and besides one trip up north per year is enough for me.

I myself are unsure how that is a week before the event?

a). don't take any notice of thrasher and he may actually make good his promise to sod off.

b). the dvd night was an escalating out of control experiment running mostly on pure hippy energy which as you may know doesn't allow a lot of rational thought or planning. we got hammered monday night and dreamt up the idea, tested it on wednesday (hammered again) and put it into play on friday (super-dooper hammered) without time to take a breath, or rally the troops. anyway, i had a good time though my liver may disagree.

it seems that you're right but that means you should visit here more often then you won't miss out on stuff :wink:

I'm sure ESSK will organize something like this pretty soon... but the media wing of that group has sorta gone AWOL at the mo so it could take a while.

what I meant to say was that I was one of the unfortunate few to attend this so called function.
When I arrived there were about 5 poor sods slouched over chairs listening to Art Garfunkle or some other loser, an out of control Hippy bouncing off the walls and the administrator himself shadow boxing and squeeling like a stuck pig.
10 mins after arriving I found myself dodging flying Hippy-bourbons and physically defending myself from manic fist and foot attacks, coutesy of the Stuck Pig.
You guys are morons of the highest degree!
I have since written to the owner of this rapidly decaying establishment strongly suggesting he rethink his promotional strategy and sack his DUMB-ASS event organisers.
