With a cranking SE in Ruakaka for the last two days the whole crew have been putting in the LONG hours at the River mouth.

My body is aching all over - but near on 16hrs of riding in 2 days would do that. Today is going a little more S and the swell is still on the rise - could be we are chasing waves at the race course this afternoon...

Hi DK,

Was wondering if it was cranking up there, rang the old man on monday and he gave me an old surf-dog wind report "or yeah its a bit sideshore..."
That SE direction just sometimes finds it a bit hard to fill in in Auckland so will be calling you for a report on all SE winds in future.

No worries KA (Scott??) - SE is by far the best direction in Ruakaka; well worth the drive esp if you can catch the full tide.

DK i don't need to hear that. its driving me mad thinking of all the wind im missing, will be back up on sat/sun, think we will get lucky? two sessions at RRM must be pushing the mucles! and all that flat AHHHHHH!

HEy Decay, great location you got there. Even though i only got a short session before the sun went down it was a real blast in the waves.
Definitly going to have to come back to sample some more of that, might have to jack up some more "work" in your neck of the woods
