Sorry was down CHCH for work last week. Took the gear of coarse had few good sessions in the Poo Pond powered on the 12M torch.
Had a few good unhooked kite loop spankings in front of the carpark, gota entertain the locals!!
Also got couple of session's at Brighton for a bit of wave action, all good!!
It's winter wetsuit time down there already, still in shorty in Nelson.

Nelson has had a pretty good summer for kiting, averaging 4-5 days a week, more NE then the usual NW. And trusty old SW come in hard and fast as per usual too.

Andrew T has become some freaky kite Mesiah, learning a new unhooked/kiteloop/handle pass/grab/tweak/off axis/ into blind surface pass??? every other session. I cant even name them let a lone make out what they are??? The guy needs a girlfriend to slow him down :twisted:
There's about 10 kitesurfing chicks going strong in Nelson too.
Lance's girlfriend Sarah cant get enough, got her own kit now.
Sue's boosting backs/fronts/tranys this summer.
Weibka and Warren are now teaching at the beach too, they did the hard yards and got kitesurfing approved at Tahuna.
Ben and Tim are pretty much retired.
Nick and Kelvin are charging!!
We have had so many tourists hitting our beach this summer, mostly Uro's in there camper vans staying for about a month, doing a tikki tour and then they come back, practicully becoming part of the local scene.
Sometimes cant even get a carpark!!!

The police/Coastgaurd have had to do a few rescues this summer -all tourist getting sucked out the channel, there are now signs up warning people. Rescue Roy had to get rescued instead of being the rescuer, got picked up opposite the Lighthouse!!

Ha! Bless him, He should ditch his job and compete on the world circuit if he's pullin that stuff. ( or he needs to get laid ). Either way good on him. We could certainly do with some more cat. on the water up here thats for shore:lol:.
