Just as I said we were doing well!
Had a complaint today about Kohi beach. The person concerned was very understanding and did not want people banned. They wanted some awareness of the issues by all concerned. The incidents she related have just happened this afternoon and yesterday afternoon.
In one incident someone was using the white "swimming Only Area" buoys to turn around whilst people were swimming. The boarder was coming within 20m of the swimmers.

In the second incident the "novice Kiter" (complainants words), was doing erratic movements and crashing the kite into the beach and the stone breakwaters.

The complainant was very pleased to hear of the proactive stance of the local kiters and supported their actions with the code of conduct.
