Air Force & Navy Kiter-Pilots join forces in the third dimension to form the first marine-aviation division of the NZ Military.

Yes a Kiteboarding Club has been established at RNZAF Base Auckland as a sub-club under the banner of the Boardriders Club.

With a small but dedicated crew of 10 kiter-pilots, the Ole-Seadogs and Flyboyz are now a recognised club and we hope to generate heaps more interest within the NZ military to increase our numbers. We may even entertain some of you civies joining the club?

Every wednesday afternoon (work dependant) we plan to schedule club activities to maximize the military requirement to maintain physical fitness. We will also be planning weekend trips away as well as monthly "pub/cafe" get togethers to drink good wine, skull beers, spin shit and do the meet and greet thing.

Damn good news there brother! I just bought a bunch of new camo gear, and you may recall my successful recon mission to Great Barrier recently where I drummed a bit of parade ground discipline into a ragtag bunch of misfits, mercenaries and Dad's army veterans.

I imagine this stands me in good stead with the club and I will be accorded VIP status, salutes etc whenever I set foot on the base or run into the boys (literally in your case) on maneuvres.

It's particularly gratifying to see more of the taxpayers funds being spent on frivolous pastimes and R&R.
