Hi

first I have to say that I know that there is a special topic for stolen stuff but most people just look on this site so here is my story

today at midday somebody stole my Blue/White Naish Boxer 12m from 2005 with bar and lines at Brameley Beach(tamaki river;auckland)I was just in the water for 5 minutes to get my board back because I lost it at a jump and as I turned around my kite was stolen from the Beach and yes I'm 100% sure that it wasn't blown away.
The serial number is 55 411 03 808 and it was fixed at the front tube and at the corner between middlestrut and fronttube(The rips weren't real big so you might not see them on the first look

I'm here in Auckland as an international student and it was so much work to get the money for it now I have to sit at home again.

My telephon number is 09 524 05 67 if you have please write me an email that's This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Hope we can find it

By any chance did you see a ply board come floating the other way? As that is one of my local haunts i will be very vigilant there from now on. Hey dude we may have met before. Bramley would have been blastin yesterday.

Oh by the way you are right... i didn't steal your kite (i go by that username - "blownaway" on kiteforum.com, seabreeze.au and ikiteboardin.com).

I may kite at PH tomorrow if you are up for a sesh. I think the wind is still meant to blow hard? i missed the tide today for PH and it looked a bit crazy for my hydro but tomorrow i'm all keen if there are any warriors out there willin to get out.
eastern beach hates my guts because i did a big crap in my wetsuit whilst out there kiting 6 years ago. That's why i'm the most unpopular kiter in NZ. Beast from da east reprazent mutha f#$$%@ers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the offer that's what I like abou surfing the comunity is awesome but I'm in Florida next month and probably I'm gonna try to buy a cheap best kite overthere but if that doesn't worked I would love to come back to your offer.
I've been the first time to brameley beach so I didn't know that it's going to be so gusty and I thought the wind would increase up to an average of 30 knots in Point Chev so I thought less wind would be better to my 12m
Which spot stands PH for?I might see ya at brameley tomorrow I gonna try to find that guy maybe he is stupid enough to come back down there

PH stands for pine harbour. A very good spot in a NW. Hey man in a NW Pt Chev isn't that bad... a darn site better than Bramley that's for sure!!! A NW is steady at PH, even when strong as it's open to the north once you get out past the headland.

Bramley is for true northerlies and in summer is a very handy spot for thermals from both directions (SW from Manukau and Northerly from East coast). The best and strongest sea breeze spot on AK's east coast and not crowded (if anybody care to dispute this claim then i'm all ears).

Bramley won't be workin tomorrow as it's westerly.. and in westerlies Bramley is horribly gusty. PH in westerlies is pretty good... bit gustier then from the NW but great as long as it's not 35 knots and above. Another option is flat island... mid to low tide.. mid tide has a wicked sandbar with perfectly flat water... like glendowie sandspit but much less gusty... the least gustiest spot out east for westerly winds. But if you wanna really leave NZ on a positive note then maybe check out Ihumateo RD on the eastern shores of the Manukau Harbour. Flat water, shallow for ages... heaps and heaps of room and very steady wind... suited to those 35 knot westerly days when Eastside is undoable... miles less gusty than pt chev, bramley, ph, flat island, meola reef, shoal bay, mission bay, st heliers, kohi and all the other "auckland is gusty" beaches.

Sorry about those idiots that ruined your stay here.... you are actually the only person i know of that has had stuff stolen from Bramley. The locals there are extremely nice people but you do get undesireables from elsewhere comin and going in their bloody cars doin burnouts and shit and smokin weed... especially during school holidays.

PS: if you are keen on Ihumateo Rd then give me a txt or a PM and i can get some other guys together who like kiting out there. Whilst the kiting conditions are brilliant the area itself can be pretty dodgy with burnt out cars and broken bottles and not the best place to leave your kite gear unattended either. But then again we have never had any probs there but best to play it safe of course.
