fewer people will know of the hard work being done to launch a new magazine: Stance New Zealand, which should be available on November 15th.

The winter seems to be thawing into a warm and tranquil summer.

Overjoyed I am to see a new kite board magazine bedeck our New Zealand book shelves it must be far better than the ego centric crap we have had to suffer in the past.

I would like to offer my assistance to the writing of such a magazine- I could be the careing angle, the Dear Abby of the NZ kite world many could write to me and I would with my worldly knowledge and subtle understanding of the kiting way assist those to a clear path on enlightenment.

I hope our brother Shaan (he who has a girls name) that you too will help our French debutant find ways to fill her pages

So should any of you have any issues you would like to share feel free to write her and I Osama Been kiting will endeavour to right your wrongs, be that shoulder to cry on.

i have just returned from the house of pain where i witnessed another climactic struggle between the forces of good and evil, with a breathtaking result to the men in black. alas, i fear i am becoming a rugby-head and have found a new calling outwitting the TAB and collecting bags of cash from believing in the punching power of jerry collins.

taking this and other time and loot-hungry pursuits into consideration it is therefore unlikely i will play any important part in the new publishing venture, especially considering i can clamber up on to my own trusty soap box here whenever i feel inclined and the turbaned one allows by his grace.

by the way osama, you're looking very fetching at the moment but i suggest a shave.

Im the Extreme body dragger so I can do some stunt pics for the mag like being dragged into the side of cars etc... My favourite trick is waiting for someone on a board to cross down wind from me then I drop the kite and fly like superman into them -- Kite-Rugby...

Does anyone know anything about the Kiwi Stance Mag - I have seen the overseas version but there is nothing on the stance website - just a name and an email - is it gonna be small and cruddy like the old kiteboard mag or like the Stance mag you get at magazenos with a dvd?? :?:

I see anabatic has a magazine as well - have they published a magaizne before as well? how come there are so many publications website and forums for only 400 kiters??

Anabatic kiteboarding News Spring Letter.

What an amazing start to Spring.
Not only has it been one of the warmest Winters since records began but Spring dumped the goods (Strong Eastery Winds) on us for a whole week.
So its good news, the Summer season of Kiteboarding and long after work sessions are bearing down on us.

I received a new shipment of Peterlynn Venom kites and a new Shipment of BEST Yarga kites just in time to take advantage of the brewing warm winds.
Hit the water in perfect Orewa conditions for my first ride on my new 17m Yarga.
Turned out to be one of the best sessions i have had in a long long time. Orewa 15-20 knots warm with a building surf. I spent +3hrs charging around on my new kite.
So their is some serious Kiteboarding action brewing around the country.
