Well two weeks have been and gone, the wind here has been fantastic, ranging from insane 25 -30 knots to 11-15 with a few 15-20 knot days thrown in.
Cocos has been the most consistant place ive kitesurfed with 12 out of 14 days surfable and half of those being 2 session days due to the tides

Its amazing how much your skill level increases when your'e out on the water day after day

Didnt see any tigersharks but chased quite a few black tip reef sharks on the lagoon Even got to see lots of red footed booby birds on a trip to North Keeling on the calm days

how did you get on with the baggage limit, mark? two kites? one board? lotsa t-shirts?

"Baggage allowance with National Jet Systems (NJS) is strictly limited to 20kg plus 5 kg carry on luggage."

I managed to get away with 24KG in the hold which included one kite , one board, bar ,harness etc and 11KG of fresh meat, my carry on was all my cloths and stuff 7KG.
I was lucky with gear because i ended up using my brothers kites 50% of the time.
He said they are pretty strict with the limits and i was sure i was going to get pinged but they really appreciated the fresh steak and lamb chops

the sig is the view from his front porch out across the runway the met shack on the RHS was one of the best places to go but only at high tide, then its about 1 to 2 feet deep, flat and cross shore
