I am not sure how well it works on dial up
You will see the detail increase as the screen uploads.
The gray stokes mean the satellite has zoomed in further (highest detailed spots).
They are upgrading this program all the time with new high rez spots that have not been detailed.

Major cities have been covered in high rez. CHC has not been done yet.
However Nelson and a few others have.

You can zoom in to a few hundred feet of the ground.

You will need to install Google Earth first (available at earth.google.com

When you find a spot click on the safety pin and email it to a friend..
Shaan you can upload these direct links to your site. People can then click on them and it will fly them direct to the spot you mark.
I have done a few on my laptop. Sits in the Cach .. (stored in temp files for offline use)

He spends most days doing scouting missions.
I think he has more secret spots than he knows what to do with.
It may take him 24 hours to drive to the spot, then catch a ferry and a Tuk Tukk... but he knows the spots.
