Maybe just another rumor, but there is a chance the Harbour board are going to put a full ban on kiting and Windsurfing on Eastern Beach and the Tamaki river, because of numerous complaints from "old ladies" about getting hit by kiteboarders.
Info was received from a member of the NZWA who heard from the harbour master. Either we act now or lose two great places to ride.
