I'm thinking of upgrading my 2003 fuels and would appreciate
any feedback from anybody who's been riding the 2005's

twas hard to beat the 2003 slingys for sheer grunt but they have got progressively smoother since then, with the immeasurable advantage of the splitstrut system which improves performance in those critical rigging and de-rigging sessions.

my set of 2005 9,13 and 17m is more than enough for this weekend warrior and seems very competitive in all conditions compared to my few buddys who don't also ride slingshot.

I've had a few rides of the 15 and one on the 11, and they are excellent kites, stunning hangtime, heaps better than Naish X2s, and very stable, huge range, the 15 has a great low end of 8 knots on a 147cm board 75kg rider, great in gusty wind, super kite loopable... wicked height on jumps...very smooth flying..hangtime is better than the 2004 kites, and more low end..

For 05 the Slingshot Fuel has gone higher aspect, tucked it's trailing edge and refined it's bomb proof construction even more. There's a reverse relaunch system (if your bothered) you can rig up, as we all know, these kites do what their told, plus you can connect a 5th line (purely for massive depower, but will extend hangtimes)
I'm stoked, the best kite I've ever flown, great upwind, insane hangtimes, faster turning etc....
you'll be totally stoked I'm sure!
