Like all my boards the name comes from a type of blade weapon - swords, knifes etc

The Wedong has a short wide blade - seemed to be a good choice for a short/fat style kiteboard.

hey thanks dave,i only got to play with it once @ orewa, very interesting ride,super funky, but maybe abit fat for me,i do like the look of the 137,wat do u call it, katana, pat wont let me @ it so i guess its safe lol.i hope the insurance covers everything,cu next time ur up here
