Anyone feel like tunin me in on the key spots to check out? I just got in from California, and am gonna be here for a year. now i just need some buddies to let me in on where to go. came equipped with my entire set up (12m and 8m cautions) and want to make some buddies.

I was out kiting with a guy from California.. I think he was ridding Caution kites. I was out riding on a slingshot 17 m...
Same day a big storm came through and we had to race for cover..

of spots arround here described.

yeah kitebeaches.com has about 25 NZ beaches on it... 20 of them are auckland spots. As for being combative on the forums. Yeah we love scrappin it out and lettin off steam... especially at this time of year when there usually isn't much wind at the main spots (the main spots in auckland that is). This time round it's been pretty good though and we have been relatively well behaved as a result. If you think we are combative at the mo... you should see what we were like this time last year :twisted:
