Come on Thrasher, that looks like your average day at Bramley or eastern, except more crowded...

Few guys riding the Naish Torches I see... or at least some sort of 5th line naish setup...

manukau harbour is pretty sweet too, lots of days out there, just need a small kite... the flat water on an outgoing tide there is epic, you have to agree! I think the Chch estuary is very tidal too, and gust if the windy doesn't have a Easterly component ( port hills? )

Poo pond is for the thermal days or NE days i hear. But yeah rumoured to be very gusty in NW, South or any offshore type direction, flat water though. Still worth checkin out though in chch's Noreaster.

As for the Manukau Harbour... yeah it's a freakin good place to kite. Outgoing tide at Stonefields is incredable and as it works great in the prevailing winds (and it can handle the strong stuff too) it's not a place where you have to wait several weeks before for the wind to be right... Eastern and Bramley are bloody good spots but NE winds are not that common and with El Nino established i don't see much action at these spots over summer. Then again on thermal days Bramley works great in the northerly.

aklbob a high chance of me scorin a home near to Stonefields next year and if that's the case the Manukau won't be too far way, of course i'll have to make a trek to Bramley or Eastern but i can live with that... just

Yeah the Manukau is great, except wen you hit the only rock out there doing 100mph, and you stop, and the rock makes a large hole in your board!!
