Durban Kite Beach has a entire beach house just for themselves... and a very good team of kite managers who manage to pump up EVERYONES kites, deflates them when you are done... Carlo's kite even got a complete wash and shine from these dudes... and they fold those kites as if it comes out brand new from the bag... they manage your keys (and your car!) and all they expect in return is a fair tip and a beer or two

See you met Manuel our kitemanager. He's up and riding now too (although he recently trashed his only kite) but still sacrifices time on the water to scrape a few bucks pumping kites and cleaning kit. Him and Vincent make reasonable money when the wind's pumping, but would starve - or be driven to less healthy pursuits - around this time of year if the kiters didn't make a detour past the beach to drop off a pie or some bucks - hats off to Brucie and the boys for their efforts.
