dvnt kiteboards 'tested'(very loose description) in French Polynesia

Its hot, windy and its not cheap by half.
Welcome to French Polynesia

Located in the Pacific below Hawaii, French Polynesia consists of a group of beautiful paradise looking islands in the Pacific

lows : stonefish (rare), sharks(big ones mostly stick to deep water channels), overdeveloped areas of Tahiti, finding spots on islands without paying for taxi (too expensive)/ navigating reefs with boats , high heat/sunburn (pack your spf 30+ and hat), stay safe out of any main town back streets after dark (Tahiti), and just about expensive everything

highs : very consistent tradewind easterlies at around 20 knots most days (finding launching spots can be very tough), absolutely sick waves - inc the legendary Teahupoo that kitesurfer Laird Hamilton surfed as the heaviest wave ever ridden, very warm water, friendly locals (you had better learn a bit of French though), the cheese selection

It was an opportunity to test out the dvnt boards in very consistant 20 knots winds and after recently riding in challenging and varied New Zealand conditions - it was all very straight forward and not surprisingly the boards performed really well with 128cm by 35.5cm being a really great board size.

It is a great place with so much more to offer than just Tahiti island If you are going to go do some extensive research first though
