Hi guys!!!

Just a topic to ask you bout the proper waterwear over summer here in NZ.
Over the winter I use my drysuit but isnt gonna be suitable for summer^^

So, what to wear in Summer? Board short and s/s rash guard?

Water on the West Coast is very warm. I was out at Piha this morning and it was 18 degrees. That is perfectly surfable in boardies and a rashie. I was surfing so not exposed to the wind chill, however I would say if you are in the Upper North Island this summer it's only going to get warmer.

Board Shorts and Rash guard standard NZ summer equipment. Dry suit can stay home!

I find a shorty wet suit ideal in summer - keeps the wind chill and sun off.
