Who here is flying / has flown the GI or GII? Any comments? Are these able to be flown by a newbie or should I be looking at LEI?

Cheers aye

yep I've had a g1 since the first shipment, now got two and soon to have a g2

the g1's are a bit slow in the 15 and 18 sizes but the g2's are meant to be quicker

use them as much as I can and still haven't been convinced to change to LEI

once you get a couple of the land launching tricks sorted (by watching the vid or reading the instructions) they are dead easy to fly, you have to do something fairly silly to make one crash

dunno where in NZ you are but if your in Otago come have a fly of mine

Peterlynn make three designs:

Bomba.... Beginner/intermediate level.
Guerilla II.... Intermediate/Advanced.
Phantom.... kite freaks and design junkies

The Guerilla is also fine for first time riders as you can't luff or tumble the kite so it is 100% stable. Takes a lot of the frustration out of learning to Kiteboard. But the Bomba is a cheaper option and also a great first kite.

Not all sizes are available but you can get up to 15sqm in both Guerilla and Bomba kites. larger sizes will be finished soon.

More info on my web site or give me a call, I ride them.

Cheers Lee
