Also anyone else that wants to join for a south head trip 50kms up the beach (you need a 4*4 or really old battered Ford Laser that you don't give a toss about) for catching outgoing tide/slicks at the end - followed by gps best speed or 10km race (or 50km if you are keen) - in about 5 weeks (if forecast and tide ok)

Great shot of Tokerau Beach at New Year's. Makes me yearn for the summer.

There's talk of Aotea for the long weekend - the Legacy probably wont make it up to Kaipara Heads (am not prepared to find out for sure).

I am always up for a bit of down winder..

5 weeks is a long time to wait !!.. But then again we dont all get to
spend a few weeks kitting off a yacht in Bora Bora.. SMUCK..

I missed your post dude - just returned from raglan and aotea. It was nukin all weekend. Was even too much for the 7 metre on Sunday. Will come down and check out Rotavegas at some point.
