Ok so at the moment i'm running a 2 kite quiver.

2010 11m edge
2009 8m light.

now i like the edge in lighter wind because goes fast with gobs of upwind ability and lift.
when the wind is kranking 20-25 its super powered and massive jumps are on the cards and you can see y grin from teh beach.

but its really too powered for wave riding 20+ knots. I end up getting too much aparent wind down the wave face.

So i fire up the 8m light which is a sweet kite but at 20 knots its really under powered and its not a very lifty kite even at 25-30 knots. I hunker for more lift.

So I have a gap 20-25 knots where i'm too powered or underpowered.

I'm thinking i need to step up to a 3 kite quiver.

Whats are your advice.

Currently i'm thinking of keeping the 11 edge, 9m c4 and the 6m catalyst for the storm days.

Will a 9m c4 be sweet in the 20-30 knot range?

9m C4 or a 10 Catalyst is ya best bet.Id personally go for the C4, cause they kick ass and are more dynamic to fly, although the Catalyst is designed as a freeride/wave kite so either is good.

I have a 9 metre C4 and it is awesome in the 20 - 30 knot range. despite what the Ozone website says it needs a solid 18 knots to get fully cranking (mind you I am 85kg) but then it is all good until around 35 knots when things start to get a bit interesting.

Thanks Butch and Roger. 9m C4 is on my wish list. My 8m light is not cranking until 25 so 18-30 would be a nice wind range.
