Hi

I will be in NZ in April for business (work for NZ company in Canada)

I will have 1 free day in Wellington (April 10) and 2 in Auckland (April 16-17)

I started kitesurfing last August and took IKO lessons. I still beginner because I start late in the summer and now it's winter here... I'm addicted like all of you probably... and I try to find a way to ride in NZ for few hours (if the wind is there)
I will not bring my quiver for one session and I will be limited with transport. I would prefer flat water!

Do you have some suggestions, how the weather looks like in April?

wellington is hard core and not for beginners. your best bet there is to get to foxton 2 hours drive away and look to hire some gear of butch at wind warriors.

auckland has plenty of beaches so the chance of wind getting a go is reasonably goot. not sure who hires up there? nz board store? check the anvertising above.
