TOPIC: Fiji in May- June

Any recomendations for wind & wave spots in Fiji ?
I was thinking Sigatoka east of Nadi, but from what I've heard alot go to Plantation Island

yup, plantation island is a good starting point. you can easily get to the other islands on backpackers boats.

i'm still wating to get my forgotten password from air nz air points before i book. all you need is 28,000 air points if you book online at the moment. when i get my dates i'll let you know. i'm hoping for the last 10 days of july.

I've just heard that Sigatoka gets the most wind due to the big sand dunes and a compression thing happening

i also have a secret spot - a resonably short boatride away. it's the ultimate kiting spot i've found anywhere in the world but requires plenty of wind - an all too infrequent thing in fiji. if there's any chance, i'll be going there!

Heading over there in August for a coupla weeks. Is this still a good time to get abit of action on the water and any recomendations on what kite sizes to take.
