signed in wind guru has more info, im not on pro version but with a non pay account you see more info...

best result would be wind guru plus tide below for the particular spot.. its all you need ...

i note the other weather graph is basically identical info to wind guru but lower res e.g. rain is in increments of 1 instead of 0.1

swell/wave size is of importance to kite surfers also Jimmy. Theres a big difference between 7.0 meters and 1M.

Also for each location if you acn find a weather station giving current wind speed. Quite often the forecast is not actually whats happening

for the naki i use windfinder and also the local port weather details. it updates every minute the current wind speeds ave/ max gust. Very usefull on desiding to go out or not if you not at the beach.

Also rain radar helps your try and predict sqaulls and associated wind spikes.

I'm usually using the forecasts to try and plan days ahead and then on the day switch to the current web sites for whats actually happening.

wind guru has wave size, direction and period too plus precipitation . ill be taking some notes on both programs and see which one matches the conditions on the day best

in the naki i find windfinder to be pretty accurate. and theres multiple points around the coast predicted too. wind finder is usually 8-10 knots shy for prediction down foxton/waikanae wellington region.

Thanks guys for the input. Really appreciate all the feedback. As promised, the next page I will develop will be the Naki! Will put up as much data as I can from the sources that you indicated Jimmy22.

Will see how that looks after I check out the sources of wind data.

Great suggestion on looking at the data from two perspectives. Forecast and real time. Will see how that can be implemented into the weather pages. Maybe having two sections on the page would work.

Will keep you posted as you know what you want.
