Kiting has consumed me for two and a half years, I recently purchased a Best 10M weapon from ANABATIC to ad to the quiver. All bullshit aside these kites are excellent quality and F@#kn good value. Can I say F@#kn on this site? The BEST is well made, performs well and looks great.

As an importer myself in a different industry I have watched the kiting distributors in NZ with interest and wondered why the kites have remained so expensive when our dollar is thes BEST its been in years. All kites in NZ should be cheaper now than ever.

Best kiteboarding has done it. And Anabatic has brought it to New Zealand.

Easily as big as the swell that hit from Cyclone Ivy.
Head high on the sets, not quite 20ft Ian but close.

OK so I missed it... and just heard the wind was hitting Waipu at +20 knots all day.

I wasted my day off watching the pounding surf at Orewa and Red Beach.
At least I got wet.
A Few of us went out at Orewa, Ian, Gavin Andrew and i took on the ways on out big kites and big boards.
Ian and Gav were riding strapless surf boards. Andrew and i on our +7ft directionals.

And to think only 90mins North it was blowing its tits off.
Mike Holland said he rode the waves from Waipu river to Mere road.
That is a massive wave riding session down one of the east coasts longest beaches. And the surf would have been huge.
Said it was his best session in the area ever.
Bugger! I so could have been there.

Interesting to note that the dollar has dropped heaps in the last two months alone. Let alone what it did last week.
