I am a big fan of Orewa.

However, between Orewa and Big Manly, which one is better on a strong Northerly wind and low tide, like the conditions expected for this weekend?

Obviously a small kite is required.

Don't bother responding to my question. Big Manly was awesome on Saturday afternoon on an 8m kite.

At 5:00pm I decided to pack it up when the rain came bucketing down. As I walked closer to the car park with my kite above the water, it was like someone suddenly turned off a switch. The kite just fell out the sky into the water and I had to go retrieve it because the wind was just suddenly gone! I unhooked and went to fetch my kite. I carried it out onto the lawn and spent the next 15 minutes untangling the huge pile of seaweed from my lines.

Was good fun though.
