went down to the beach sat arvo with my son
and set him up with my old PL classic buggy and a flexifoil stinger 1.2m
at 8years old, neally 9, it was like taking a duck to water


He was using some sea weed at one end as a turn point,the wind was W at about 7 knots
so max speed was only about 10-15 kms

Now that is some excellent parenting. Good show!

That's some serious compression on the PL... like 2" of downtube?

I'm more thinking about next year,as he already wants a bigger kite

the down tube is as short as it can go,I just redrilled it by the bearing bush,so the tube is all the way under the seat.
I need to shorten the foot pegs ,as they are so long.

He'll grow into it quickly! Nice thing about the PL classics and when he's ready you can always build him something more appropriate.

i've been wondering how i have safely tow my kids around while i'm langboarding. Some form of tiny buggy or go-kart type thing.

any idea's?

kids are 1,3 and 5. do i even need wheels? maybe something with skids? shopping basket?

speed would be real slow.
