Hey,
I´m coming to Wellington December 23th. Now I´m thinking if I could go Kitesurfing there. I cannot take my kite with me, but now I´m considering sending it by post. But then I still lack a board. Does anyone know if I can rent one somewhere around Wellington. Is anyone willing to go kitesurfing with me there?

I rent kiteboards at Wind Warrior Kitesports at Foxton Beach, jus over an hour north of Wellington on state highway 1.

And there are a heap of people that will go kiting with you too. Check out the Wellington Kitesurfers Google Group

And there is a local shop in town too - Wild Winds, but I'm not sure if they rent boards, but sounds like Wind Warrior Kitesports can help you out there.

you might as well check also www.trademe.co.nz and see if you can't get a cheap 2nd hand board. Not sure how long you are staying and if that would make sence for you.
I will be in Wellington as well in that time so if you need a lift to the beach just let me know.
