After the weekends little maelstrom and some dodgy incidents, i thought that it would be good for newbs to have a Google map of where to learn tide wind etc, this is by no means the complete range of places to learn at just the most common that i and some of the other instructors teach at.

in addition to this i encourage every one who is thinking of teaching their friends, to think of how many near misses they have had in the course of learning. An instructor can minimize those incidents in the early stages of learning.

modern kites will let you get away with all sorts of mistakes that would have left you crying for your mummy, on the older C kites ( pre 2006/7). But if you think kiting is a risk free sport, and nothing can happen to you, then please take up Base jumping instead, Darwin will take care of you then.

Be careful out there. Winds over 18knts are not good for learners without close supervision.
