Hi I am looking at some advice from people who have ridden both the above boards. I am 82 kg 5ft 11 and have been using a Cabrinha Imperial 138. It's been great for the chop we have here in Wellington. I am wanting to do more wakestyle moves but won't always have flat water. I will also have a board for the light wind days so light wind performance is not particularly key.

I have tried the Caliber in the weekend and while it was a good all round board I am wanting something with good wakestyle pop and don't mind sacrificing a bit of performance in the chop. I am leaning towards the Custom at the moment but have been told it needs more power and doesn't cope as well with chop compared to the Caliber. If anyone can comment on sizing as well. The 133 caliber felt about right for me but not sure how I should size the custom.

The custom is a lot better in the chop than the Caliber (more rocker). If you want wakestyle then go for a 138 Custom. That way you can ride boots if you want too.

I am pretty much the same height and weight and have both boards (133 Caliber and 138 Custom) and my fav is for sure the Custom 138.
