On first appearances this guy looks like he is doing well & looks in control.

DONT BE FOOLED PUNTER!

Inflatable kites are not designed to ridge soar.

From a paragliding / hang-gliding perspective - watching this clip is interesting - typical high risk veiwing, I wonder if they will post the sequel of the guy getting stretchered into a rescue helicopter.

Soaring with a kite ??? The chances of having a severe impact - possibly fatal are far higher than if you were paragliding/ hang-gliding:

Although the chances of an accident whilst para/HG gliding are low they do happen - I have had 2 HG crashes (fortunately relatively minor injuries - broken collarbone, ACL, chipped teeth, lots of bruises) in 15 yrs of flying. Two of my mates have had crashes resulting in severe head injury & I know of many fatalities through the HG / para community - And that's soaring/flying wings that are designed for the task.

IF YOU THINK THE SOARING SHOWN IN THIS CLIP LOOKS LIKE GOOD FUN,

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR, GO & GET SOME PARAGLIDING / H.GLIDING LESSONS.

I'm with skyrider.

As a PG pilot too, that guy is just asking to be badly hurt.
