Many thanks to the arsehole who backed into my car at Orewa on Saturday and buggered off without telling me or leaving a note. Left me a nicely stoved in front fender instead. Am selling it in a month .. thrilled, a bill I could have done without! The sad thing is, there's a good chance it was someone I know - DISAPPOINTED!!

That sucks, glad I avoided olewa like the plaque.
Out of interest though were you parked in a marked car park or in no mans land in the turn-a-round area?

No mans land unfortunately - but there was plenty of room in all directions. Still a matter of courtesy as far as I'm concerned. If it had been me that backed into someone's car, I'd certainly tell the person if I knew them, and I'd leave my number if I didn't. I'd argue the legalities later if I had an issue of where they happened to be parked.

still second only to parking on yellow lines, accross a drive way or in a disabled park. saves walking too far though ill give you that. No i wasnt at orewa either if they did make lines to park there im sure they would be full too, what then ? (please dont tell jimmy22 i wrote this) hehe
