We have some sketchy details about a kiting accident at Seatoun in wellington

There are several reports of someone being dragged across the beach,
smashed into the concrete wall unconscious and then lofted up into the power lines. Head injuries, ambulance, etc... sounds real dodgy and we hope the dude is OK. Winds at Seatoun were 17 gusting 30knots on sunday and the locals we have heard from steered clear and went to Plimmy and Waikanae.

problems is at this stage no-one on our local forum knows who it is, any further details or even if the dude is OK. So if there is anyone out there that knows, the Wellington locals are hoping he is OK. Not a very cool situation at all.

Only description we have is that there were 2 kites on Seatoun, a yellow Wipika C-kite and a white with some blue and red C-kite. C-kites are pretty rare here, so it may not be a local.
